Introducing: Via Solana

There’s something wildly exciting about a project that feels a little bit out of its depth. That’s exactly what Via Solana (@via_solana) is — a true ugly duckling, but one we’ve grown instantly attached to. This early 80s-style home is all exposed brick, worn carpet, dark corners and dated fixtures. It’s rough. It’s raw. And it’s exactly what we were looking for.

Via Solana is set to become a long-term renovation journey - one filled with learning, layers, and lots of dust. The bones are good: high vaulted ceilings, beautiful timber beams, and a layout that flows with possibility. The vision? Think warm minimalism, natural textures, sunlight pouring in, and spaces that feel effortless and intentional, yet classy and vogue.

This is the very beginning. No styling, no clean lines, no before-and-afters (yet!). Just the honest truth of what is - and what’s to come. But beneath it all, there’s a spark. Via Solana is the creative vision of my partner Katie, founder of Eso Atelier Noosa. Together, we're bringing her design language and my skills behind the camera together to document every step - from stripped back to styled, from brick and carpet to soft render and sunlit spaces.

The goal isn’t just a renovation: It’s a re-invention, and we’ll be capturing it all through film, photography, and journal entries on both our social media channels and right here at Raw Media Co.

So here it is, the before. Come along for the ride. The story of Via Solana is only just getting started.
